I went along to a talk by Tom Dixon last night (Fri night) which is a part of an ongoing series of talks at the V&A. I really enjoyed the way in which he talked about his career so far, claiming that most of it has been based on him knowing little or nothing about the projects he has got into. It's kind of
reassuring that even the professionals don't know what they are doing sometimes.
I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for the next one.
(The lecture theater was amazing too, exactly as you would expect in a museum, all musty with brass railings and uncomfortable seats with cushions that probably haven't been changed since the 70's. brilliant.)
